Ceramic tiles are made of minerals mined from the earth’s crust, natural minerals such as feldspar that are used to lower the firing temperature, and chemical additives required for the shaping process.

Once the raw materials are processed, a number of steps take place to obtain the finished product.  These steps include batching, mixing, and grinding, spray-drying, forming, drying, glazing and firing.

Many of these steps are now accomplished using automated equipment.

Ceramic tiles

Ceramic is one of the most durable and versatile surfacing materials and perhaps the most stylistically diverse. Ceramic tiles from Bella Tiles come in all shapes, sizes and colors from tiny mosaics to large ‘planks’, in different glazes and many textures to fit with any look or use. Ceramic tile can give you a classical appearance, a retro vibe, or a clean, refreshing, modern look.

Whether you desire the classical appearance of traditional beadboard with bullnose trim, or aspire to a more sleek, modern look such as metallic-finished mosaics or an
over-sized format in a saturated colorway, our comprehensive portfolio provides you with complete design freedom.

All ceramic tile is fireproof at any temperature and the colors will not fade.
