Ceramic is one of the most durable and versatile surfacing materials and perhaps the most stylistically diverse. Ceramic tiles from Bella Tiles come in all shapes, sizes and colors from tiny mosaics to large ‘planks’, in different glazes and many textures to fit with any look or use. Ceramic tile can give you a classical appearance, a retro vibe, or a clean, refreshing, modern look.
Porcelain tile is available in a wide range of colors, patterns and mosaics with many examples found in the Bella Tile showroom. Take a look at our many options, which range from classic faux stones to fashion-inspired prints.
Glass tiles are an exciting product from Bella Tile that can add a splash of color to your space, as an accent, or for an entire wall to create an interesting and unique display. Luminous, light-catching glass is one of the most versatile materials for interior design, bringing an impression of depth to any surface although typically used for walls.
Countertops (also known as a counter top, counter, benchtop, worktop, or kitchen bench depending upon where you come from) typically refers to a horizontal work surface in kitchens or other food preparation areas, bathrooms or lavatories, and workrooms.

Porcelain tiles are denser and usually have harder surfaces than ceramic tile. Most tiles available today are porcelain. If you are selecting tile for a heavy traffic residential area or commercial area, porcelain is the way to go. On wall applications, it is irrelevant if the tile is porcelain or ceramic.
Note that both ceramic and porcelain are made from a mixture of clays and other materials, then kiln-fired to approximately 1400 degrees. In general, porcelain and ceramic tile are ceramic tiles (just to be extra confusing).
These tiles are divided into two groups: Non-porcelain tiles (i.e., ceramic) and porcelain tiles.
For bathrooms, shower enclosures or laundry rooms, use a porcelain tile. Not only is porcelain tile more durable because of their hardness, they are more resistant to moisture. It is the best choice for tiling bathroom floors, bathroom walls, shower stalls, and when tiling around bathtubs.
